Q

Which company produces t7 solder paste?

A
T7 is not a universal solder-paste model; it is a custom series number used by some manufacturers. Different makers may each sell a paste named T7, so you cannot determine the manufacturer from T7 alone. To identify it, check the package label, certificate, and maker logo, or ask the supplier for the datasheet and SGS report. The T7 paste commonly on the market is mostly fine-powder repair paste, high in activity and suited to BGA and QFN rework. For mass production, confirm alloy composition, powder size, halogen, and ROHS compliance; do not judge by the model name alone, to avoid buying the wrong thing.

T7 Solder Paste is widely used in SMT processes, and its performance directly affects soldering quality and product reliability. Selecting a suitable supplier is a key step to ensure production stability.

Currently, major manufacturers of T7 solder paste on the market include Japanese, Korean, and some domestic professional solder enterprises. Their products have different characteristics in viscosity, alloy composition, and Flux formula, which need to be matched according to specific process requirements.

In practical applications, the printing performance of T7 solder paste is often affected by squeegee pressure, stencil aperture size, and ambient temperature and humidity. Therefore, when selecting a model, tests must be conducted in combination with one's own equipment conditions and process parameters.

Some customers have reported that certain T7 solder pastes are prone to slump or poor wetting in high-temperature environments, which is usually related to the metal content and flux activity of the solder paste. It is recommended to request detailed physical and chemical index reports before procurement.

For long-term cooperative suppliers, the batch consistency of T7 solder paste should be regularly tracked. Special attention should be paid to whether the rheological properties of the solder paste meet the original process requirements, especially when changing suppliers.

If defects such as bridging or voids occur after T7 solder paste printing, first check whether the thixotropy of the solder paste itself is suitable for the current stencil thickness and printing speed, and simultaneously inspect the stencil cleanliness and squeegee wear.

During the soldering process, the Reflow Soldering temperature profile of T7 solder paste also needs to be adjusted specifically, especially since there are significant differences in heating rate and peak temperature control between leaded and lead-free solder pastes.

The final selection of T7 solder paste requires comprehensive consideration of cost, supply stability, and after-sales service. It is recommended to establish a multi-supplier backup mechanism to cope with unexpected situations.
