We tracked the actual performance of LFP-JJY5RQ-0307T4 halogen-free and lead-free high-temperature Solder Paste at an automotive module factory in Shenzhen for three consecutive weeks, and found that with a stencil aperture of 0.12mm and a printing interval of up to 45 minutes, it still showed no obvious dry film, no slump, and no solder beading. In contrast, a certain Japanese SMT Solder Paste used in the same period developed slight edge hardening after only 30 minutes. This is closely related to the synergistic effect of a specific proportion of natural rosin derivatives and thixotropic modifiers in its rosin-based vehicle. Meanwhile, the narrow melting range (221–227℃) of the 0307 alloy powder (Sn99Ag0.3Cu0.7) and the T4-grade sphericity (≥95%) ensure consistent solder joint wetting.

In verification on a fingerprint lock motherboard production line in Dongguan, this Printing Solder Paste maintained a stable solder climb coverage of 96%–99% for 0.4mm pitch QFN packages, far higher than the 8MTSP/5RTS series tested in the same batch (70%–85%). The reason is that its ROL1-level activity design not only avoids excessive corrosion of OSP copper surfaces, but also fully activates during the 235–255℃ holding zone. Combined with the high specific surface area and low oxygen content (≤150ppm) of the T4 powder, the Flux volatilization curve closely matches the metal melting rhythm, thereby suppressing void formation and improving Solder Joint Strength.

Compared with traditional Domestic Solder Pastes, which often cause false ICT test alarms or cleaning difficulties due to high halogen residue, the LFP-JJY5RQ series controls individual halogen content at <900ppm>. A horizontal comparison was simultaneously conducted on a Suzhou LED driver board line, using the same DEK printer, the same stencil life (50,000 cycles), and the same ambient temperature and humidity (23±2℃, 55±5%RH). The LFP-JJY5RQ-0307T4 required 1.2 stencil changes per shift, lower than the 1.8 changes of a certain imported brand solder paste, and also better than the 1.5 changes of the water-washable LFP-JJY5RW1-0307. This indicates its slow viscosity decay and stable shear-thinning response, which is particularly critical for continuous operation of high-speed placement lines (CPK≥1.67), and is especially suitable for batch introduction into SMT production lines with a daily output of over 200,000 solder joints.

It should be noted that although this Domestic Solder paste is compatible with conventional T3/T4 stencils, when using ultra-fine pitch stencils below 0.1mm, it is recommended to lock the reflow peak temperature at 248±2℃.
