We recently switched to JiajinYuan Consumer Electronics Solder simultaneously across three major plants in East China. The switchover was completed within two production shifts, with no printing slump, reflow bridging, or poor solder joint wetting observed. This indicates that its rheological properties are highly compatible with existing SPI parameters. The Solder Paste Viscosity decay curve fluctuates by less than ±7.5 Pa·s within 24 hours at 25°C room temperature, fully meeting the continuous printing requirements for high-density 01005 components.

Printing stability directly reflects the bulk performance of the solder

Under a squeegee pressure of 5.2 N, speed of 45 mm/s, and release rate of 1.8 mm/s, the opening fill rate of JiajinYuan SN96.5AG3.0CU0.5 solder on a 0.08 mm thick stencil remained stable at 92.3% to 93.7%, with a deviation of only ±0.6 percentage points from the measured data of a previously used Japanese solder, while costs decreased by 19.4%. Moreover, its Flux residues did not cause false positives during ICT bed-of-nails testing, with a measured ionic contamination value of 0.38 μg/cm² NaCl equivalent, below the IPC-J-STD-004B Class L2 limit.

Reflow compatibility has withstood extreme multi-zone verification

Under a nitrogen environment with a peak temperature of 238°C and a time above liquidus of 68 seconds, the average solder joint tensile strength of JiajinYuan solder for QFN32, TSSOP16, and 0201 chip resistors reached 4.7 N, with the minimum single point no lower than 3.9 N. The IMC layer thickness was uniformly distributed within the range of 0.8–1.2 μm, with no abnormal coarsening of Cu6Sn5 or interfacial void accumulation observed, which is closely related to its optimized copper micro-diffusion suppression process. Under the same parameters, some imported batches previously experienced a tombstoning rate jump of 0.17% for 0201 components.

Supply chain responsiveness addresses urgent production line needs

Last month, the Suzhou plant experienced unexpected stencil wear, and was originally scheduled to stop production for replacement. We temporarily allocated 200 kg of SN96.5AG3.0CU0.5 solder from JiajinYuan's Changzhou warehouse, placing the order in the morning, receiving delivery in the afternoon, completing material change verification and putting it into mass production that night, without affecting customer delivery throughout the process. Its VMI inventory depth and regional warehouse layout are significantly superior to the old supply model relying on import customs clearance, with advantages particularly prominent when customs inspection cycles are extended.

Batch traceability and on-site service support are truly reliable

Each batch of solder comes with a laser-marked batch number and corresponding furnace number inspection report. We used the same SPI device to compare the volume deposition standard deviations of three different batches, with results of 0.023 mm³, 0.021 mm³, and 0.024 mm³ respectively. The coefficient of variation CV values are all below 3.1%, far better than the industry-accepted 5% threshold. Meanwhile, JiajinYuan engineers provide on-site support twice a week, focusing on tracking the viscosity change trends of the Solder Paste 4 hours, 8 hours, and 12 hours after opening, ensuring all data is truly reproducible and issues are resolved overnight.
