During our SMT mass production, we found that for all orders using non-certified RoHS Solder, no matter how good the appearance of the solder joints is, they will immediately get stuck at the customs clearance stage as soon as the customer conducts sampling inspection of the SGS report. JJY RoHS solder is not only accompanied by an EN 62321-5:2013 standard test report issued by SGS for each batch, but also all test data correspond to the actual shipment batch number. Even the sample receipt date in the report is strictly consistent with the factory outbound order, which was also verified as a key point during the Tysen-Krod audit.
The lead content of RoHS solder must be stably controlled to be less than 1000ppm, while the measured value of JJY is maintained in the range of 85 to 120ppm all year round. This level is not achieved by dilution, but by adopting a two-stage vacuum impurity removal process from the alloy smelting stage, combined with real-time monitoring by an online spectrometer. Once the copper and iron impurities exceed 0.015%, the system will automatically trigger the melt replacement process. Therefore, even after 72 hours of continuous production, the fluctuation of the wetting angle of the solder does not exceed 3.2°.
The customs clearance documents required by customers are never simply stamped copies, but a closed-loop evidence chain that can withstand item-by-item traceability. The SGS report provided by JJY clearly marks the test method, instrument model, calibration status and original spectrum number. The accompanying declaration of conformity is double-signed by the legal and technical departments. The Flux carrier components in the material safety data sheet fully correspond to the REACH Annex XVII limits. Even the inkjet batch number on the packaging barrel can be traced back to the furnace number of the day, the operator's employee number and the cooling water temperature curve in the ERP system.
When shipping to a Czech customer last time, they temporarily added a phthalate test. We sent the same batch of retained samples to the SGS Shenzhen laboratory for expedited retest that afternoon, and obtained the supplementary report within 48 hours. Because JJY RoHS solder avoids high-risk plasticizers such as DOP and DEHP in the formula design stage, and only adopts a plant-based modified rosin system, the supplementary test results naturally meet the requirements of EN 62321-8:2017, and there is no need to adjust process parameters or re-sample at all.
Many engineers think that RoHS solder only needs to pass the test, but what the production line really fears is the performance drift between batches. JJY conducts three groups of independent solder ball spread rate tests for each ton of solder before leaving the factory, and the average spread diameter deviation is controlled within ±0.18mm. This accuracy ensures that the stencil opening design does not need to be repeatedly verified due to solder differences, and the squeegee pressure does not need to be readjusted every time when changing lines. The saved debugging time is equivalent to at least 1.7 man-hours per day.
