This shows that compliance documents for ASEAN Foreign Trade Solder have become a hard threshold—indispensable, otherwise it cannot even pass the initial IQC inspection, let alone be included in the mass production BOM list.

Jia Jinyuan's ASEAN foreign trade solder must complete the EN62321-3-1 standard test conducted by SGS before leaving the factory, covering six limit values: lead ≤0.1%, cadmium ≤0.01%, mercury ≤0.1%, hexavalent chromium ≤0.1%, PBB ≤0.1%, and PBDE ≤0.1%. All measured data are marked on each batch of COA, and correspond one-to-one with the original SGS numbers, rather than vague statements like "compliant with RoHS", because auditors in Thailand's EEC zone will scan the code on the spot to verify authenticity in the SGS official website database.

We once encountered a batch of Solder Wire shipped to Penang, Malaysia that was stuck in customs clearance, because the accompanying RoHS certificate did not bear the CNAS accreditation seal. When customers file MSDS, they pay special attention to the halogen content of rosin-based Flux. Jia Jinyuan's ASEAN foreign trade solder adopts a low-halogen (Cl+Br <900ppm) modified rosin system, which not only ensures the wetting speed on OSP boards, but also avoids being returned by Indonesia's BPOM due to excessive halogen. This balance was finally finalized after the Dongguan factory actually measured the wetting time and ion contamination data of 27 groups of different PCB surface treatments.

On the outer packaging of each roll of solder wire, in addition to the printed RoHS and SGS dual-logo, there are also laser-etched three pieces of tamper-proof information: the melting batch number, wire drawing date, and test report number of the roll. This is to cope with the on-site code scanning required by the Philippines' DTI during surprise inspections to retrieve the original test spectra. Without these three items, the entire batch of goods may be seized as undocumented materials.
