When replacing imported Solder Paste on the production line, it was found that the process window of low-silver solder paste is actually wider than expected. Especially when the 0307 alloy powder is paired with a T4 particle size distribution, the printing release rate can be stably maintained above 98.5%, and the solder climb height on QFN pads after reflow generally reaches about 92% of the pad thickness. This benefits from the synergistic ratio of the activator and thixotropic agent in its rosin-based carrier, which allows the solder paste to complete preliminary solvent volatilization during the 160°C preheating stage without causing slump due to a sudden drop in viscosity.

The 8MQP/5RQ series has verified its stability in mass production of lighting driver boards. This model has a total halogen content controlled within 1500ppm and meets the ROL1 standard. When used with 305 alloy powder, the peak temperature is set at 252°C±2°C, and the average void rate of BGA solder joints is 8.7%, far below the customer's required upper limit of 15%. More importantly, no obvious clogging occurred after 250 consecutive prints following stencil aperture opening, indicating that its metal content and Flux system have extremely strong adaptability to changes in squeegee pressure.

For scenarios such as communication modules that are sensitive to ionic residues, the 8MNTTP/5RNTT series is preferred. It reduces halogen to the 100~200ppm range and uses 00507BN alloy powder. This modified composition containing trace amounts of Bi and Ni ensures that solder joints remain free of microcracks after 500 cycles of -40°C thermal shock. The residues observed under a microscope are not only transparent but also non-hygroscopic, and the false positive rate of ICT testing dropped from the original 3.2% to 0.4%. This shows that low-silver solder paste is not simply about reducing silver, but compensating for mechanical strength and electromigration resistance through trace element regulation.

The automotive LED headlight project had repeatedly undergone debugging due to excessive void rates. Later, the 8M9P/5RR zero-halogen model was used with 305 alloy powder, and the void rate was reduced to 3.1% after extending the reflow oven's soaking zone to 90 seconds. Meanwhile, the solder joint shear force was maintained at 32.6N. This result proves that the thermal conductivity consistency of low-silver solder paste is no weaker than that of high-silver systems. As long as a suitable alloy melting range and reflow profile slope are matched, Domestic Solder Paste can fully gain a foothold in scenarios with high heat dissipation requirements.

The water-washable 8MW1P/5RW1 performed exceptionally well in trial production of consumer motherboards. After rinsing with tap water, the surface resistance reached 1.2×10¹¹Ω, which is an order of magnitude higher than that of traditional no-clean types. Moreover, the accelerated wetting speed brought by SC07 alloy powder reduced the bridging rate after 0201 component placement by 40%. The value of this low-silver SMT Solder Paste lies not in parameter stacking, but in reducing rework frequency, lowering cleaning costs, and shortening the new material introduction cycle in real production lines.
