JJY's ISO solder material production line has been subject to annual supervisory audits by third-party institutions since 2018. All Solder Paste models are formulated, three-roll milled and vacuum degassed in a Class 10,000 workshop with cleanliness rating ISO Class 7. Ambient temperature and humidity are recorded throughout the process, with automatic alarms triggered when limits are exceeded. The first piece of each shift must undergo XRF composition retesting and rheometer viscosity comparison. If data deviation exceeds ±3%, production is immediately stopped to trace the raw material batch number and grinding roller gap parameters of the previous batch.
When we conduct ISO solder material factory audits, we focus on three key hard checkpoints: first, tin powder sphericity testing must use field emission SEM rather than ordinary optical microscopes; second, Flux activator content must be actually measured according to ASTM D4400 method rather than relying solely on supplier COA; third, each barrel of solder paste must undergo re-inspection of printability after -40℃ to 125℃ thermal shock before shipment. The cold solder joint issue complained by a customer last year was intercepted in advance through this thermal shock re-inspection, which caught two batches of abnormal materials.
System certificates are not just decorations hanging on the wall. JJY's ISO solder material certificate number can be verified in real time on the CNAS official website. The certificate scope clearly lists specific alloy grades such as SN63PB37, SN62PB36AG2, and lead-free SAC305, without vague expressions like "solder paste category". During customer second-party audits, they directly retrieve the tin powder particle size distribution charts of the past three months, original reports of flux halogen content, and test records of post-reflow board surface ionic contamination. All data are watermarked with timestamps and operator IDs.
Production line audits fear fake data closed loops most. JJY has connected all key control points to the MES system. For example, when the solder paste stirring time reaches the set value, the discharge valve is automatically triggered. If the valve is manually opened in advance, the system pops up a lock screen and generates an NCR form. Similarly, if the vacuum degassing pressure is lower than -0.092MPa for more than 15 seconds, the process flow is forcibly aborted. These logics have been spot-checked more than three times as part of the evidence chain in previous ISO solder material factory audits.
What customers take away is not just a certificate with a red seal, but also a batch-level quality certificate attached to the goods. It contains the actual viscosity value, thixotropic index, measured tin powder D50 data of the batch solder paste, and recommended parameters for the corresponding reflow temperature profile. All these fields are directly collected from equipment, not manually entered in Excel. During an audit by a German automaker last year, they randomly scanned the QR codes of five quality certificates and verified on the spot the consistency between the data source and the MES database.
