In actual production lines, it has been found that Domestic Solder Pastes with low viscosity fluctuation must simultaneously meet three hard indicators: reasonable alloy powder particle size distribution, strong rosin carrier aging inhibition, and fast thixotropic recovery. For example, the halogen-free, lead-free high-temperature Solder Paste LFP-JJY5RQ-0307T4 uses 0307 alloy powder with T4 particle size distribution. After 7 days of constant-temperature storage at 25°C, its viscosity change rate is <8%, and its printing release consistency is 12% higher than that of ordinary 305 series solder pastes, making it especially suitable for continuous mass production of 0.4mm pitch QFN devices. LFP-JJY5RNTT-305, on the other hand, compresses halogen to the 100~200ppm ROL0 level. Paired with 00507BN ultra-fine powder, it achieves a solder climbing coverage rate of over 92% in fingerprint lock motherboard mounting, and the residue after reflow is transparent without whitening, eliminating the rework risk of ion contamination testing.
For scenarios sensitive to voidage such as automotive electronics, the measured voidage of LFP-JJY5RR-0307 zero-halogen and REACH-compliant lead-free high-temperature solder paste is stably ≤3.2%. Its rosin system volatilizes more uniformly in the 180°C holding zone, avoiding solder paste collapse caused by local Flux accumulation. Combined with T4 powder with a sphericity of ≥92%, the printing thickness variation coefficient can still be controlled within 4.7% even when the squeegee pressure fluctuates by ±0.2kgf. Among water-washable options, LFP-JJY5RW1-0307 can be cleaned with water immediately after welding LED heat dissipation brackets. T3 powder has a high matching degree with water-soluble resin, reducing cleaning time by 23 seconds per board compared to traditional water-washable solder pastes. However, note that its viscosity is more sensitive to ambient humidity, and it is recommended to maintain workshop humidity at 45%~55%RH.LFP-JJY5RLJ-305, dedicated to laser welding, exhibits an extremely low nozzle clogging rate in jet valve dispensing. The proportion of T6-grade ultra-fine powder reaches 18%. Paired with a low-volatility rosin matrix, it maintains shape integrity even at a single dispensing volume of 0.8nL. For the low-temperature segment, LFP-JJY5RLJB-4258 uses Sn42Bi58 alloy to achieve a melting point of 138°C. T5 powder has a wetting and spreading time 1.8 seconds faster than 64351 during reflow at the 160°C plateau, which is critical for improving the yield of heat-sensitive components such as crystals. Finally, a reminder: the viscosity stability of all these Domestic Solder pastes depends on strict management of the usage time limit after opening the lid. For example, 8MQP/5RQ must be re-stirred if exposed to the open air at 25°C for more than 4 hours; otherwise, T4 powder sedimentation will cause a sudden increase in the first-piece printing thickness deviation. This is not a formula issue, but a failure to strictly enforce production line operation details.
