Stainless steel (304/316/201/321 austenitic, ferritic and martensitic stainless steel) has a stable Cr2O3 passivation layer on the surface that almost completely prevents conventional solder materials from wetting; traditional processes require acid pickling activation or copper/nickel pre-plating, which is cumbersome and costly.
JIAJINYUAN stainless steel lead-free solder wire uses a self-developed dual flux system of "strong activation + surface-energy matching": high-activity organic acids rapidly break down the Cr2O3 passivation layer at soldering temperature, while special surface modifiers adjust the interfacial tension between the tin alloy melt and stainless steel so the tin alloy spreads and wets directly on the surface.
No pickling, copper plating or polishing of stainless steel is required — simply wipe off surface oil with alcohol, then solder directly at an iron temperature of 320~360°C, greatly improving convenience and significantly lowering overall soldering cost.
It delivers stable, reliable results in applications such as 304 stainless steel cookware, stainless steel kettle heating plates, 316L food-grade structural parts, stainless steel decorative parts, hooks and fittings, medical instruments, and stainless steel mesh/basket welding, with bright joints and strong bonding.
