Because of the dense oxide layer and surface-energy characteristics of nickel-plated, chromium-plated and Ni/Cr alloy materials, ordinary solder wire cannot wet and tin even under high temperature, frequently causing problems such as "non-wetting," "solder balls rolling away," and "cold/false joints."

JIAJINYUAN solder wire for nickel and chromium plating is formulated with a targeted flux system combining high-activity organic-acid activators and special surface-penetrating agents, which rapidly removes the Ni/Cr oxide layer at the moment of soldering and suppresses secondary oxidation, allowing the tin alloy to spread smoothly on the nickel-chromium surface.

The product reliably tins on 0.1mm thin nickel sheets, 1~5μm electroplated nickel layers, nickel-plated stainless steel parts, connector PIN nickel layers, chromium-alloy spring sheets and relay nickel contacts, with short wetting time, sufficient solder-climb height and high joint shear strength.

The nickel/chromium solder wire is made entirely from high-purity virgin tin alloy, offering high purity and good conductivity without affecting the electrical and thermal performance of the Ni/Cr parts. The product complies with RoHS, REACH and halogen-free environmental requirements.
