Nowadays, Solder paste is widely used in the electronics industry. Unlike Solder Wire and Solder Bar, Solder Paste is relatively special. If you want to store and use it without impairing its performance, you must take certain measures. Today, JJY Solder Paste Manufacturer walks you through the storage methods of solder paste and the temperature treatment required before use:
The first note: warm-up. The solder paste must be taken out of the refrigerator to defrost 4 hours before going online for production. After being taken out and opened, it must be returned to the refrigerator for storage within 24 hours. Fill in the solder paste usage record form and the solder paste control label. Use bottles by number and give half-used bottles priority, following the first-in, first-out principle. If a bottle is not used up the first time, affix a secondary label and number before returning it to the refrigerator: fill in the re-entry time according to the number on this bottle, then apply the secondary label.
Note: label management follows the first-in, first-out principle. All time information filled in must be true and accurate.
The second point: stirring. After warm-up, the solder paste must be mixed in a solder paste mixer for 3 minutes before it can be used online. Please fill in the stirring time on the solder paste usage record form. When solder paste goes online or is replenished, fill in the "Solder Paste Online Form" according to the bottle number and paste type.
Note: the stirring time is 3 minutes; before stirring, do not open the transparent cap, to prevent water droplets from seeping into the bottle.
Defective scrap: solder paste of poor quality caused during printing is returned to the solder paste control area for scrapping;
Expired scrap: expired solder paste and solder paste scrapped from the production line should be placed in the scrap solder paste area. The scrap solder paste bottle must be marked with the scrapping time, and the scrap solder paste record must be filled out properly.
Work scrap: after solder paste is taken out, if it is not used up within 24 hours and not returned to the refrigerator for cold storage, it is directly disposed of as scrap. The warming time of solder paste outside the refrigerator is generally 2-4 hours.
