Nowadays, many people are clearSolder wireComposed of tin alloy and additives, different types of welding wires will produce different fluxes. The welding wire part is to enhance the auxiliary heat conduction of the welding wire during welding, remove oxidation, reduce the surface tension of the material to be welded, remove oil stains on the surface of the material to be welded, and increase the welding area. Solder wire can be soldered with an electric soldering iron or a laser. Do you know the soldering method of solder wire? The solder paste manufacturer will explain it to everyone::
The main welding methods of welding wire are as follows:
1Fusion welding:It is a method of heating the interface of the workpiece to a molten state during the welding process and completing the welding without applying pressure. During fusion welding, the heat source rapidly heats and melts the interface between the two parts to be welded, forming a molten pool. The molten pool moves forward with the heat source. After cooling, it forms a continuous weld seam, connecting the two components into one.
During the fusion welding process, if the atmosphere comes into direct contact with the hot pool, the oxygen in the atmosphere will oxidize the metal and various alloy elements.
Nitrogen and water vapor in the atmosphere enter the molten pool. During the subsequent cooling process, defects such as pores, slag inclusions and cracks will form in the weld seam, deteriorating the quality and performance of the weld seam.
2Pressure welding:It is to achieve atomic bonding of two workpieces in the solid state under pressure conditions, also known as solid-state welding.
The commonly used pressure welding process is resistance butt welding. When current passes through the connection ends of two components, the resistance is very high and the temperature rises. When heated to a plastic state, they are joined as one under the action of axial pressure.
The common feature of various pressure welding methods is that pressure is applied during the welding process without the need for filler materials. Most pressure welding methods, such as diffusion welding, high-frequency welding, and cold pressure welding, do not have a melting process. Therefore, there will be no beneficial alloy elements like melting welding burns, and no harmful elements will enter the weld seam. This simplifies the welding process and improves the safety and hygiene conditions of welding. Meanwhile, compared with fusion welding, the heating temperature is lower and the heating time is shorter. Many materials with a small heat-affected zone that are difficult to weld by fusion welding can often be welded into high-quality joints with the same strength as the base material by pressure welding.
The above is the explanation of the welding method of solder wire today. You can have a brief understanding of it. It is definitely beneficial to the quality of the welding. Do not blindly weld, which may lead to product quality problems. If you have any questions here, please feel free to consult!
